Step Into a World Where Animals Talk and Work Together
We share this world with some amazing animals. Some we know and love. Some we admire from afar. Others we might not understand at all. But every creature plays a part in the balance of nature, and they all have a story. Cutter the Bear: The Adventure Begins invites readers into a forest alive with friendship, mystery, and courage. Here, animals talk, cooperate, and form bonds that mirror the best of what makes us human.

With Cutter the Bear, Dan’s mission is to entertain, inspire, and connect readers and aspiring artists; especially young ones; with stories that celebrate the natural world and our role in it.
About the Book
In a forest where animals talk, bond, and solve problems together, a young bear named Cutter wakes up to a day that changes everything.
When a friend goes missing, Cutter teams up with an unlikely crew; a sharp-eyed goose, a loyal retriever, a lone wolf, and even a mysterious snake—to uncover the truth and bring her home.

About Illustrator:
Creating the illustrations for Cutter the Bear has been an especially joyful experience — not just another project, but my very first journey as a book illustrator. Since childhood, I’ve loved to draw, and my family often joked that I was born with a paintbrush in my hand. Later, I earned an academic art degree, and painting has always been with me — a quiet way to speak without words. I never sold my paintings; they were simply part of my inner world.
For many years, I expressed my creativity through interior design, crafting spaces where people can live, dream, and grow. Over time, I founded my own design studio — Kebeta Design — where I thoughtfully blend comfort and aesthetics.
When I began working on the characters of Cutter the Bear, something new awakened in me. Illustration revealed an entirely different world: each character felt like a living soul, someone to listen to and understand. I strive to capture their personalities, emotions, and moods — through a glance, a gesture, a line, or a color.
To me, illustration is a way to touch magic. I’m truly happy to be part of this story and hope that these characters will find a special place in your heart — just as they have in mine.
